Pierfrancesco's bio

A film director and producer, born in 1988, and a member of the independent record label Materiali Sonori. In 2015, he made his first short film, Dove Noi Non Siamo, with the support of the Toscana Film Commission. In 2018, he directed his second short, a fantasy western, Moon On Fire. In 2021, he directed the documentary Ofelia, which was presented at the 39th Torino Film Festival and is currently available on the RaiPlay platform. He has produced about ten short films, such as Agnus Day by Giuseppe Isoni (with the support of ARTE France), presented at CINEMED in Montpellier, and La Linea del Terminatore by Gabriele Biasi, presented at SIC – International Critics’ Week at the 80th Venice Film Festival. In 2024, he made C’è da comprare il latte with Alessandro Benvenuti and Roberto Abbiati, supported by NUOVOIMAIE, and presented at the Milano Film Festival 2025. He is currently working on his first biographical feature-length documentary, Milleluci, Sayonara!, dedicated to the Tuscan actor Carlo Monni. He is the artistic director of Sentiero Film Factory, a film festival in Florence, which has reached its 6th edition.
