Dáša Raimanová, is a London-Berlin-based documentary director from Slovakia, whose work explores socio-political topics. Her Polish Film Institute-supported short film, Gypsy Gadji (2024) won the best short doc at Lucania Film Festival (Italy, 2024) and is currently screening on the international film festival circuit. POLYLAND (2018), an activist documentary she directed and co-produced, was screened at international film festivals and sixty community screenings across Europe. It became part of Amnesty International's campaign against hate crimes in Poland. Dáša has directed short documentaries for Al Jazeera, Arte, and Deutsche Welle (DW), including Across the Road - Worlds Apart (2019), which was broadcast in nine European countries and reached millions of global viewers on DW's YouTube platforms.
Béla Váradi is a Roma and queer visual artist whose work confronts erasure and political marginalisation across Europe. Based in London, he combines documentary photography and participatory practice to tell stories from communities shaped by war, poverty, and systemic discrimination. His work has appeared in The Guardian, Balkan Insight, and WOZ, and has been exhibited internationally, including at the Milan Triennale and Stiftung Kai Dikhas in Berlin and Queer Britain UK.
