Rachida El Garani was born in 1975 in Genk, Belgium. In 2011 she started her studies in the Audiovisual Arts at RITCS Brussel (Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema & Sound) at 36. During her studies, Rachida directed several fiction short films and documentaries, with themes around gender, migration, human rights, and diversity. Since her studies she has had a wide and diverse career, working in film, television, and reportage.
