Anna sta crescendo, ha appena compiuto sette anni. Stefano (Lino Guanciale) e Margherita (Eleonora Giovanardi) hanno in serbo per lei una sorpresa e si affannano per metterla in pratica facendo squadra, mentre una serie di imprevisti mette loro i bastoni tra le ruote. Il tentativo goffo e ostinato di appigliarsi a un rito familiare trascina il padre e una giovane receptionist d’albergo (Paola Buratto) in un’insolita avventura notturna, diventando in realtà la ricerca di un modo segreto e “magico” per comunicare senza usare le parole.
Anna is growing up. She’s just turned 7-years-old. Stefano, and Margherita, want to surprise her, teaming up while a series of unexpected events happen. The awkwardness and stubbornness of their family ritual, makes a father and a young receptionist dive into an unusual night adventure to find a secret and ‘magical’ way to communicate without words.

Paolo Bonfadini is an Italian filmmaker, author and musician, graduated in History at Università degli studi di Milano and in Film and TV Direction at Civica Scuola di Cinema L. Visconti. Since 2021 he is part of Sky TG24 's team working as a director. With Collettivo Asterisco* he has co-directed “Gea” (2020) & “The true story of the world’s biggest hide-and-seek game ” (2021), nominated for the Italian Golden Globe as Best short film (2022). “Ultraveloci” & ‘Rasti’ written and directed with Davide Morando, are his latest short films.

Davide Morando is an Italian filmmaker, editor and scriptwriter. After studying Filmmaking at the London Film Academy, he worked as a creative producer for different TV networks such as Paramount Network, MTV & Sky. In 2017, he was nominated to the PromaxBDA Global Excellence Awards in Los Angeles. His comedy short film "Gli Atomici Fotonici", starring Giovanni Storti produced by MINI Italia, was selected in more than 50 international film festivals. In 2022 his short film "The true story of the world’s biggest hide-and-seek game”, written and directed with Paolo Bonfadini & Irene Cotroneo, was nominated for the Italian Golden Globe.
