Buenos Aires 1947. On the radio there is a parliament’s debate about women’s possibility to vote. Deputies claim that the woman is inferior to the men and that’s why she must not decide the future of their country.  Maria is waiting for her mother to come back from work but she doesn’t. She went to the women’s rights manifestation.
Buenos Aires, 1947. En la radio suena un debate parlamentario, los diputados argumentan que la mujer es inferior al hombre por eso no debe decidir el destino de su patria. María espera la llegada de su madre del trabajo; pero su madre no vuelve, se va a la manifestación.

Silvina Estévez is a young filmmaker from Argentina. Her first short film Self Realisation won first award at BAFTA. She studied sociology, script writing, filmmaking. After directing some short films she developed her first feature documentary film Escuelavida in 2016. Nowadays she is developing her next feature film.
