Born in MX, she studied film at CENTRO and an MA on Screenwriting at London Film School. With her feature project Xibalbá Monster she obtained FONCA’S Jóvenes Creadores grant in 2010 and since then she has attended film workshops like IBERMEDIA, Cine Qua Non Lab and TyPA. Her short A gesture (2015) was selected at FICM and Cinélatino, FR. In 2017, she collaborated as editor with Bernardo Arellano on his film, Serpent’s Paradise. Her latest film, the short Sol del llano was shot in the Colombian plains and premiered in 2019 at the Morelia International Film Festival where it won the Premio Renta Imagen award. It will premiere internationally at Clermont Ferrand Film Festival, as part of the International Competition.
