Rome.
The facade of an outskirt building stands static and tall. It collects rain, wind caresses, sunshine and darkness. It can be dirty and peeling or freshly plastered, but it won’t be easy to find something human in it. It’s only stone and concrete. Anyway, the building is never the same. It changes with the wind and seasons, it has a life flowing in it, made up of single people who wake up in the morning and go on protected by four walls. No matter how many plants there are on the balconies. In the outskirts of Rome, buildings speak of melancholy and distance. Away from the earth, away from the sky. They drown in the burned smog of mornings, and disappear in the deep darkness of the night. Clementina, Mario the fisherman, Jacopo. Time and Nature. Solitudes and buildings.
This is Azimut: life that flows behind the walls.
Roma. No importa cuantos pisos o balcones tenga.
