Giuseppe Cardaci is a director and filmmaker from Catania. He graduated in Graphic Design from the Academy of Fine Arts in his hometown and later specialized in Film & New Media at NABA in Milan. After studying at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design in the United States, he directed his first short film, Carmen (2015), where music played a central role, a recurring theme throughout his work. Over the years, he has focused on branded content short films, collaborating with brands such as Milano Beauty Week, Mini Italia, Akoni Eyewear, and the cinema magazine Ciak. In these projects, he has directed Italian talents including Anna Ferzetti, Antonio Catania, Matilde Gioli, Filippo Scicchitano, Ivano Marescotti, and Gigio Alberti. During the lockdown, he created and directed the mini-docuseries #RESRENDIAMOCI – Stories of Resilience, produced by PLUS S.R.L. and currently distributed by CHILI.
